Get Out the Youth Vote

If you think your vote does not make a difference– you’re wrong. Go vote! If you think we are wrong and you still do not want to vote– STILL vote. Candidates and elected officials listen most to whoever impacts their ability to continue serving. This means that the more Gen Z gets out and votes, the more seriously our leaders will take our concerns!

This Youth Voter Guide is broken into THREE easy steps (TWO extra bonus points if you have time), with deadlines for each step. We hope you do not procrastinate, but realistically it is a busy time so we included these hard deadlines so you can still be civically engaged– even at the last minute.

Stand Against Data Centers for LI

The last thing young Long Islanders need is another added cost to building a future here. The Town of Brookhaven recently approved a 18 month moratorium for all data center proposals.

We attended the Public Hearing to make it clear to our local officials that Long Islanders do not want data centers built in this community!

While the hearing is over, you can still contact your local officials and stakeholders to ensure no data center projects are approved.
